In a recent and remarkable gathering, the Vatican hosted an engaging evening titled Roman Nights on December 1st, 2023. The event, set within the historic walls of the Vatican, provided a unique platform for exploring the intersections of art and faith. This notable occasion featured a preview of an upcoming documentary, spotlighting the restoration efforts at the Vatican Museums and the critical role played by the Patrons of the Arts.

The event boasted a panel of distinguished speakers, including Fr. John Wauck, a priest of Opus Dei with a rich background in Renaissance History and Literature; Anthony Johnson, a Senior Video Producer at EWTN Vatican Bureau with a decade of experience in video production; Elizabeth Lev, a US art historian with extensive expertise in Roman art and history; and Andreas Thonhauser, EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, who moderated the discussion.

Roman Nights is part of a series aimed at fostering dialogues on topics that intertwine life and faith, reflecting the Vatican’s commitment to cultural and spiritual enrichment.
