Pope Francis: Liturgical Calendar Highlights for November 2023

Pope Francis has a series of significant liturgical events scheduled for the month of November, as revealed by the Office of Liturgical Celebrations.

On November 3, at 11:00 AM, in the stunning setting of St. Peter’s Basilica, a special Mass will be held at the Altar of the Chair. This solemn service is dedicated to the memory of the late Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI and to remember the Cardinals and Bishops who have passed away during the year.

On November 19, at 10:00 AM, the same Basilica will be the backdrop for a Mass commemorating the World Day of the Poor, an important event on the Pope’s calendar.

Additionally, the Prefecture of the Papal Household has confirmed that on Thursday, November 2, at 10:00 AM, Pope Francis will preside over the Holy Mass in remembrance of all the departed faithful at the Rome War Cemetery in Rome.
