Out of the hundreds of thousands of young people in Portugal for World Youth Day 2023, several are from Latin America. Hailing from Colombia, Father Jeronimo Espinosa joins us with Andreas Thonhauser, EWTN Vatican’s bureau chief, to reflect on the great impact the Holy Father is having on the youth and the church in this region. Given the fact that Pope Francis is our Church’s first Latin American pope, Father Jeronimo sheds light on how this may have influenced Latin Americans’ attendance at World Youth Day this year.
