The Holy Land: Place of Encounter – Interfaith Dialogue for Peace

In this video, we take a closer look at an important interreligious meeting that took place at the Palazzo della Rovere in Rome, titled “The Holy Land: A Place of Encounter.” The conference brought together religious representatives of the three great Abrahamic faiths – Jews, Christians, and Muslims – to discuss the importance of true dialogue and a meaningful pursuit of peace. The event featured important speakers, including Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, Tel Aviv Rabbi Tamar Elad-Appelbaum, Bishop of Nazareth Monsignor Rafic Nahra, and the Imam of the Mosque of Rome, Nader Akkad. The panelists spoke on themes such as “Jerusalem and the Holy Land: Healing and Hope,” “Living in peace in Jerusalem as ‘brothers all’,” and “Unexpected encounters that change life: A personal experience.” Throughout the evening, there was a clear desire for true dialogue and a meaningful pursuit of peace. Join us as we explore the importance of faith and dialogue in the pursuit of peace in the Holy Land.
