Vatican Releases Theme for World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation

The Vatican has released the theme for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation in September. The theme is “let justice and peace flow.” The Holy Father says he chose it based on the words of the prophet Amos, “Let justice flow like a river… righteousness like a never-ending stream.” The World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation takes place September 1st. Executive Director of the Laudato Si Movement, Tomas Insua, joins to tell us some of the highlights from the news conference today. Insua also spoke at the conference and drew a comparison between the leadership of some global leaders and that of Pope Francis. Insua shares more about that. This is also Laudato Si Week. Insua explains more about this initiative and what they are focusing on this year.
