Vatican Group Dedicated to Defending Human Life Gathers in Rome

A Vatican group dedicated to defending human life gathered in Rome earlier this week for its general assembly. A news conference today highlighted the gathering. Participants were primarily from the academic field. They took part in the 2 day workshop.

The primary focus was “emerging technologies” and how they can be used for the common good. Professor Roger Strand from the University of Bergen in Norway, joins to tell us more about the general assembly, how it went and what some of the highlights were. During the news conference he spoke about the spiritual dimension to medicine and health science. Professor Strand shares more about that. The Holy Father also met with conference attendees. Professor Roger discusses his messages to the attendees.
