Pope Francis praised the role of women in the Church as part of his remarks on International Women’s Day. Vatican officials and others reflected on the important role played by women in the Church. It was part of a conference preparing for a gathering next year called “Women in the Church: Builders of Humanity.” Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies on Women of the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum, Anita Cadavid, joins to tell us more about this conference.
