Pope Francis Meets with the Delegation for the National Eucharistic Congress

Since leaving the hospital, the Holy Father has met with a group working on the Eucharistic revival initiative. Bishop Andrew Cozzens led a delegation for the National Eucharistic Congress, which will take place in 2024 in the United States, at the Apostolic Palace. He led the delegation to meet Pope Francis and to have the monstrance blessed that will be used at the Eucharistic congress. Bishop Cozzens joins EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, to discuss how their meeting with the Holy Father went. The Pope went off script when addressing the delegation. Bishop Cozzens shares what he said. He tells us why he will take the monstrance to Assisi before taking it back to the United States. Bishop Cozzens also fills us in on what we can expect from the Eucharistic Congress in the US.
