In this four-part series, Vaticano follows the missionary activity of “The Center – A Family of Families” in Quito, Ecuador. The center works to empower vulnerable families by providing them with tools to develop a life project. The Papal Foundation, the only U.S.-based support charity that exclusively fulfills the requests of the Holy Father, is one of their key benefactors. Staff at the center share their experience of working with the vulnerable through letters to Pope Francis. The foundation’s stewards and trustees express their admiration for the work of the Church in promoting subsidiarity and solidarity, supporting remarkable deeds in the furthest places around the world that would otherwise not get attention.
