Cardinal Appointed to Fight Clergy Abuse by the Vatican Named in Boston Lawsuit

Cardinal Sean O’Malley, appointed a leader in the Vatican’s efforts to fight clergy abuse, is among those named in a new lawsuit in Boston. The suit alleges Cardinal O’Malley and 5 other archdiocesan officials failed to properly supervise a vice principal who allegedly abused 3 teens at a Catholic high school. While the claims are not directly related to clergy abuse, the case is creating a stir at the Vatican. EWTN News Vatican Correspondent, Colm Flynn has more.
