Today is a special day at EWTN. It is the 100th anniversary of the birth of our foundress, Mother Angelica. This afternoon, the EWTN Vatican bureau organized a Mass in Mother’s honor. It was celebrated by the Bishop of Birmingham, Alabama. Rita Rizzo was born on April 20, 1923 in Canton, Ohio. She founded EWTN in 1981.
