EWTN Summer Academy

Join us in Rome for the EWTN Summer Academy 2026, from June 24 to July 3!

The EWTN Vatican Bureau warmly invites you to Rome, the heart of the Catholic Church, for its prestigious Summer Academy.

The EWTN Summer Academy is an intensive team-based and discussion-focused training program for young Catholics aged 21 to 35, looking to deepen their skills and knowledge in religious media, journalism, cinematography, and storytelling. Our goal is to form students in a global community of dedicated communicators in our Rome program.

At the Summer Academy, you will have the chance to enhance your skills in journalism, video editing, and storytelling. It’s an opportunity not only to grow professionally but also to deepen your faith and understanding of the Church’s mission in the world.

Who is eligible?

  • Open to individuals ages 21 to 35.
  • Candidates with at least 1-2 years experience in digital content creation are preferred (journalism, film, media, communications, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English is required.

Where and when?

  • The 2026 Summer Academy will take place from June 24 to July 3.
  • The venue is yet to be confirmed.
  • The program is offered free of charge, including accommodation, meals, and travel stipends for participants.
  • Limited spots available: Only 45 qualified applicants will be selected globally.

This is your chance to be part of a dynamic, faith-filled community of future Catholic journalists and join the EWTN Alumni network. We’re excited to meet the next generation of storytellers who will shape the narrative of the Church and the world.
