Pope Francis Set to Make Apostolic Trip to Hungary This Week

Pope Francis is set to make an apostolic trip to Budapest, Hungary from April 28th to the 30th

Pope Francis is set to make an apostolic trip to Budapest, Hungary from April 28th to the 30th. The Apostolic Nuncio to Hungary, Archbishop Michael Wallace Banach, is among those organizing the trip. Hungary is the only country apart from Italy to be visited by Pope Francis twice. In September 2021, the Pontiff made a short trip to Budapest to celebrate the closing Mass of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress. There, he promised the Hungarian people that he would return to their country. The faithful are already preparing for the apostolic trip. EWTN Hungary’s reporter, Domonkos Pulay, has more.
