A blessed start to Advent to you and yours as we prepare for the coming of Christ at Christmas! Things are busy in the Vatican with Advent in Rome. 

As we prepare for the Jubilee Year, Pope Francis has recognized a miracle attributed to Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, paving the way for his canonization alongside Blessed Carlo Acutis, inspiring us with their extraordinary holiness and relatable lives. 

Starting this week, Chinese becomes the ninth official language at the Pope’s weekly General Audiences, underscoring the Church’s commitment to embrace linguistic and cultural diversity. 

Next year, Pope Francis will mark the 1,700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea with a pilgrimage to Turkey, celebrating this cornerstone of Christian unity between East and West.
